1.
Wake up and see the ashes around your feet, Did you really think you were burning me? When you spake with fire and you spat disease, You are so determined to see me fall, but you are the one off balance here. I will not be moved. You are driving your own face into the ground, and it shall take you. You seek to distort our beliefs, with your pharisaic state of mind, You seek to extort our lives, replacing our shepherd with your own kind. I may be a sheep, but I'm not asleep, I am a sheep, but I am not yours. The air I breathe is now infected by your heresy, When will you open your eyes and see how it's meant to be, His grace you forfeit, yet still he freely gives. When will you see, this is not how we were meant to live. What if the day they finally put you in your grave, That is the last time anyone will speak your name? I'll take the risk. What if you're wrong, What if I'm right, What if we live eternal life, In which you suffer?

Suffering 05:03
I refuse, To see you used and abandoned. I will not sleep, Until you've been set free. I refuse, To let my flesh get the best of me, I will not rest, Until I've passed the test. I refuse, To leave you stranded in this wasteland, I will not yield, Until my body gives. I refuse, To stand and watch as you drift away, I will not stop, Until I know you're here, There has to be a better way, To save, Their blood is on my hands, And it won't wash. I refuse, To see you used and abandoned. I will not sleep, Until you've been set free. I refuse, To let my flesh get the best of me, I will not rest, Until I've passed the test. There is no obstacle, To big for the one I serve, There is no trial, He will not guide me through There is no mountain, To tall for the one I submit to, There is no suffering, To great for Him. If He is with us, then who can stand against us, If He is for us, then who can stand. Praise in your suffering, Even when you fear to die, 'cause He gave His offering, and He gave it with His life.
